This sounds like a well-thought-out list. I haven't seen all the movies on it, or even close to all the movies nominated for Oscars. What I can agree with is that Iron Man and Rambo were awesome movies. I really want to see Slumdog Millionaire, because Trainspotting - also directed by Danny Boyle - was unbelievable. I also want to see Milk and The Wrestler; they both look really good. As for The Dark Knight, I honestly though it sucked. Tim Burton's Batman movies were so much better. Hell, Tim Burton's movies are just plain good. I have a lot of movies I've got to work on seeing.

Oh man! How close was I from nailing the final score? I predicted the predictable part & then everything went haywire!!! What a game!!!! I'M PUMPED!! WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the Oscars.. Yeah, it's mainly going to be a blog of my guesses about those movies, seeing as I haven't seen most of them either. I've just heard so much about all of them & it's no fun to do a blog about the Oscars AFTER the Oscars are over! I'm going to reveal some movies that I DID see, though, that I think got passed up just because they don't seem like the typical "Oscar" type of movie, which is something that I'm going to talk alot about in the blog.

Huh. I actually thought you might pick the Cardinals and show your support to the ultimate underdogs.

But let me tell you, I am DYING to hear what you have to say about the Oscars. I haven't seen even half the movie nominated this year, so I've got some watching to do.

No doubt, Georgia's season has been extremely disappointing. But, before crowning Georgia Tech to reign over the Bulldogs, I think we need to look a bit deeper than the head to head contest or even the body of work that both teams have produced.

First of all, I say take a look at WHY Georgia has been disappointing. Look at all of those injuries that had all but crushed their National Title hopes from the beginning.. There's many guys on their offensive line who has never played the position they are now playing before. They have plenty of injuries on the defensive side of the ball too.

If anyone would've told me that Georgia would have this many injuries & yet only suffer 3 losses this year, I'd be ecstatic. This isn't to say that you aren't correct. In substance, Georgia Tech probably has had the better season, however, I still can't get past that 10-7 win over Gardner-Webb.. If Georgia played their 3rd string at every position, I think they'd win by more than that.

I rank Georgia slightly ahead of Georgia Tech still for a couple of reasons. The first reason being that Georgia has played with alot of heart all season long. I just cannot forget that Alabama game & how even when being dismantled they never gave up & they started making a big comeback, Alabama was just too good in the end, though. The second reason is Georgia Tech hasn't had the kind of injuries that Georgia has had this year, if they had, they may not have beaten Gardner-Webb & I know that's extreme, but, c'mon.. 10-7, you schedule those teams to beat up on them. The fact is, Georgia Tech couldn't. They didn't have the fire power to do it. Georgia Tech plays in the ACC, as well, if Georgia Tech had played Georgia's schedule, they wouldn't look so hot.

To wrap this up though, I just have to say that I think Georgia has been amazing this year, all things considered. It's not just preseason hype keeping them where they are in my rankings. Maybe in the AP Poll & such, but, not here. Again, though, I'm not saying that you're wrong, I'm only giving the reasoning behind what I see.

What, no Florida State? j/k.

I do think you may want to reconsider the Georgia and Georgia Tech rankings. I'd flip them. I'd say Tech has proven themselves to be the superior team this year. Georgia's still just clinging to pre-season hype.

That's a pretty impressive list you've compiled there. I'm interested to see how your rankings change after this weekend. Who are you picking in the Georgia / Florida game?

Yeah, that one was depressing, wasn't it? Good story for the Ray, though - maybe all they needed was a name change.
